A: Coast to coast, we represent the top 20% of digital, creative, and marketing talent. Q: I have a hiring need—now what?

A: We like to begin by meeting in person to understand your gaps, culture, and staffing needs. Then we go back to our team of experienced recruiters and work collaboratively to find talent based on your specific requirements. We supply a curated list of talent, and once you select a candidate, you’re done! We pay the contractor, offer benefits, provide details of the assignment, and maintain contact with the client and talent throughout the hiring period. WunderLand is the perfect size. We’re large enough to specialize in various creative disciplines, yet small and nimble enough to change gears as quickly as your needs might change.

 

Q: What is your recruiting strategy to find talent?

A: Every search is a new search. We start from scratch every time to ensure our strategy is highly targeted. Our recruiters don’t just rely on Indeed or Monster—we explore the market by attending and hosting networking events, and we work in collaboration with internal and external partners to find a diverse talent base. We identify top talent using our combined years of experience as a team.

 

Q: How many resumes do you typically send over for a job opening?

A: At WunderLand, we only send our clients the top 10% of the people we screen, eliminating the hassle of weeding through resumes. We won’t flood your inbox with unsuitable matches. We invest our time in vetting talent so that you can invest yours in managing your company.

 

Q: What happens when I hire a freelance, contract, or full-time employee?

A: When your company selects a freelancer or contractor, the employee is added to WunderLand’s payroll and offered a comprehensive benefits package. At the same time, the employee will perform like one of your everyday team members, carrying out the job based on your direction. When your company selects a permanent employee, that person is added to your company payroll and receives health insurance and workplace benefits from you. We maintain communication with all our talent to check in on their performance and job satisfaction.

 

Q: Why hire contractors through an agency?

A: We take the risk off your shoulders. We manage payroll, benefits, and onboarding. Our team provides contractors with advice and answers questions along the way, so that you can focus on day-to-day management. We communicate with talent throughout their contract, checking in on performance and job satisfaction.

 

Q: What workplace benefits do you offer talent?

A: WunderLand offers our talent the same comprehensive benefits package we offer our internal team. We have several medical and dental plans through Allied Health and Aetna. Our talent can enroll in a 401(k) plan once they work 12 consecutive months. Vacation time and holiday rewards are also available.

 

Q: Who handles the process if I have to let an employee go?

A: If you feel out of sync with a freelance or contract employee, we’ll address your concerns and handle the details. Connect with WunderLand to talk about next steps. We want your company to have the right person for the job.

 

Q: How much do you charge for your services?

A: We don’t have a set charge for our services. We talk about your budget and explore your options based on your schedule and staffing needs. Then we work with our recruiting team to find the best talent for you. We only work within your budget to find you the best talent for the job.

 

Q: How will I be billed and invoiced?

A: Following the end of each pay period, you will receive an email reminding you to log in to approve the time card. The contractor must submit his or her hours by noon every Monday, and the client or hiring manager must review and approve these hours by 10 a.m. that Tuesday. Our dedicated team of payroll professionals can be flexible with invoicing and is available to answer questions and address concerns.
